From the stickies helpfile:

--------------------------------------------
if Stickies finds a stickies.db file in the same directory as the exe it will instead write all files here, to help with portable usage. This could also be used to permit all users of a machine to use the one data file, so no matter which user you log on as, the same notes will be displayed. You would of course have to make sure that all users had the Stickies shortcut in their Startup menu, and access rights to the data directory.
--------------------------------------------

Or only moving the database :

You might like to use normal Stickies to read/write to the file, and then open it remotely using the SSIT tool?  That won't allow changes to notes in the database, but maybe when remote yuo you only need to read information from the file?
