Error when installing Stickies v10

I'm encountering the following error when I try to install Stickies v10.  I tried uninstalling my old version (v9) as well and still get the same error.  Any ideas what to do?

Solved the problem by installing an updated version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Feature Pack Redistributable Package (x86).

I have the same problem even though I installed the latest version of Visual C ++ 2008.
